How to Present

Instructions for SLPC2024 Oral Presentation

Please appear at the Next Presenter's Seat at least 30 minutes prior to your presentation.

1. Time Allocation for Presentation

The time allocated for each presentation is as follows:

Plenary Speaker: 40 minutes (35 minutes for plenary talk + 5 minutes Q&A)

Invited Speaker: 30 minutes (25 minutes for invited talk + 5 minutes Q&A)

Contributor: 15 minutes (12 minutes for presentation + 3 minutes Q&A)

2. Data Check

Oral presentations should be presented by PC only.

In principle, presenters are requested to bring their own laptop PC with the presentation data downloaded inside.

Please do bring your own PC to avoid possible incompatibility with the system environment, if your presentation includes video data.

Please check your pc at the operator's desk in the room where your presentation takes place using the free time during the breaks prior to the start of your session.

If PC could not be brought by any means, USB storage devices are admissible. In such cases, be sure to have your data converted to PDF file format, too.

For Mac users

Please be sure to bring your own machine, adapter cables, and/or conversion plugs. Organizers will not prepare those items on site.

Instructions for SLPC2024 Poster Presentation

1. Poster Board

SLPC2024 conference name and the paper number, presentation title, author's name(s), affiliation(s), country should be shown on the top of the posters.

Posters must be displayed at the numbered space in Poster Session area of "Exhibition Hall A" from 10:30 to 12:00, April 25.

Paper number plates are distinguished by SLPC-P-01, 02, 03 ....

To attach posters, please use pushpins available in the paper cup on each board.

During your presentation, please wear the blue-ribbon tag which will be provided in the poster board.

Recommended font size in body texts is at least 20 points or larger.

Recommended usable area: Width 841mm x Height 1189 mm (A0 size)

Poster presenting authors should be responsible to bring their posters by themselves. No printer will be available on site. Either OPIC or SLPC secretariat will NOT print out the posters in the venue for the presenting authors.

2. Time Schedule

Poster Session hall will be open from 10:00, April 25.

The authors should be present in front of their posters during 10:30-12:00 on April 25.

From 12:15 after the poster session, please remove your presentation materials. The posters left behind will be disposed by the secretariat.
