Utsunomiya has a rich history. It prospered as a town fronting the Futarayama Shrine during the Heian Period (794-1185). In the Edo Period (1603-1868), it was the castle town for Utsunomiya Castle. Today, it is a transportation hub accessible via the Tohoku Shinkansen, Tohoku Expressway, and the Kita-Kanto Expressway. Utsunomiya is also the largest city in the northern Kanto region, with a population of 500,000. Given its accessibility, the city boasts one of the largest industrial parks in Japan.
Visitors can have extraordinary experiences, such as a reception party with a wonderful view of the Oya Stone or dining within a vast bamboo forest.
The Conference venue is located at the next of JR Utsunomiya Main Station.
